We created this blog to keep you up to date on our trip to China to get Chu Bing Xia (Sarah Jane Hall). We leave on Thursday, October 17, and will return on Thursday, October 31.
Sarah Jane is three years old and is in an orphanage in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, China. Thanks to the excellent care she has received there, we're told she is a healthy and happy little girl who likes sweets, pretty clothes, singing and dancing.
My very gracious sister Dee and her husband Mike will keep our two boys while we are gone. Both sets of grandparents are also lending a hand. We have been overwhelmed by the kindness of family and friends who have offered to help with carpool and to arrange plenty of playdates and fun activities to keep our boys busy while we are gone.
Right now we are packing suitcases, figuring out overseas internet and phones and finalizing schedules for the boys. We'll post more when things get interesting.

ReplyDeleteJune, I am SO very excited for your family to be making this trip October 17th!!! My heart sings for you, for I know how our hearts ache to be with our sweet little ones. Even though we can't travel together, we will stay connected & maybe one day we'll get the chance to meet and have our girls together again. We will be praying for your family, and look forward to seeing pictures and hearing about how it all goes! Thank you for all your help and advice!
