Good Evening from Xi'an!

Good evening from Xi'an! It's been another whirlwind day spent at the ministry of adoption and the police station... Sarah Jane can't seem to stay out of trouble :) .We took another photo there. She knows how to pose! 

We had pizza delivered to the hotel, and it was somewhat tasty if a little different. We ended the night with a trip to the local supermarket. This is an amazing place filled with assorted weird foods and services. I bought stuff. 

Sarah Jane is fantastic! We made a minor breakthrough in the daughter/father relationship... She held my hand... With mommy on the other. It was nice. She is engaging, warm, funny, beautiful and did I mention smart?

Tomorrow is a free day with no government appointments. We plan to have lots of fun with her at the park! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes while we're here. We love you all!

We Have Sarah Jane!

We have Sarah Jane! She cried her heart out when she was passed off to us at the governmental office. 

Once we got in the van, she calmed down and looked at the scenery. We went back to the hotel. She sat with June and watched TV while eating Cheerios. She LOVES to eat! She even drank water and apple juice out of a regular cup.

She's been playing with some books and toys in the hotel room. We even got a few smiles out of her. We are so happy! She is a beautiful and happy little girl! 

We feel so blessed to be her parents! Thank you for all of the prayers! We feel them!

Beijing in One Day

We toured Beijing today! We went to Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, and The Great Wall. It was kind of like doing all of Disney in one day! Whew! The weather was beautiful.  We are so thankful to be here and see this amazing city.

Tomorrow we fly to Xi'an and meet Sarah Jane.

We've Arrived!

We arrived last night (Friday morning USA time) in Beijing. Our guide, Summer, was waiting to meet us. The flights were long but uneventful and for that we are so thankful!

Today we will tour Beijing. Tommorow, we fly to Xi'an. That is where we will meet Sarah Jane! 

The hotel is quite nice. Bud had three plates of hotel breakfast buffet this morning. Noodles and dumplings for breakfast are just his style.

Thank you for your love and prayers. We feel them and feel so humbled and grateful!
